Human silhouette target ban bill shows absurd dangers of anti-gun ‘solutions’

A Pennsylvania “lawmaker” has once more demonstrated why mentally-challenged “progressives” (but I repeat myself) should never be trusted with power and responsibility. Representative Thaddeus Kirkland, a Democrat, naturally, plans on introducing a bill that “prohibits the use of human silhouette targets at shooting ranges across the Commonwealth...” Naturally, he plans to include an exception for the “Only Ones.” Whether he intends to also mandate targets they use be accompanied with the words “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot!” is left unstated.

How about life-sized targets of Thaddeus Kirkland? I'm convinced, after reading this article, that he doesn't qualify as human.

Nobody should be trusted with power.

I wouldn't get too exercised about such a bill. Some laws just cry out to be flouted, thus giving the peons some much-needed law-breaking practice.

See now, we should encourage this idiocy. The worse the legislation the better the target rich environment in the judiciary. Oh what oh what does a federal court do when one circuit holds training requirement with the very thing another circuit holds is a permissible "regulation"?

If anything, it shows perfectly what another poster said - this is EXACTLY why gubmint had this authority stripped from its grip expressly by enuneration admission of a inalienable right.

We should not oppose this idiocy in the legislative stage. We should not stop the enemy from shooting itself in the foot. We should should watch them do so and scorn their suicidal actions. Then, we strike via the judiciary.
