That's funny. I feel the same way about her and her collectivist ilk.

Nancy Pelosi: Civilization ‘In Jeopardy’ If GOP Takes Senate.

Actually, she's right, but she's only speaking a half-truth. Civilization is in jeopardy regardless of whether the GOP or the Democrats are in power. Both arms of the US political establishment are opposed to freedom, America's founding values, and world peace. They are consumed with greed and lust for power.

The GOP are every bit as collectivist as the Democrats. For example, how many GOP politicians -- or voters, for that matter -- believe that an individual has the right to use drugs in the privacy of his own home, or to sell them to other adults? Those who don't believe in this right are essentially of the view that individuals don't possess rightful ownership over their own bodies.

Or how about flag-burning? Those who wish to see it outlawed are essentially fascists who place a symbol of the State and the national collective on a pedestal above the natural rights of the individual to express an unpopular opinion.

The Democrats suck, but until the GOP starts following the example of someone like Ron Paul, it's nothing but false opposition.

Pelosi is predicated on false, ancient, old, stale assumptions.

Hasn't she heard the flyover country lore: "Once the breeding gear has gone - off to the slaughterhouse!"

To many vile old haradins have temporarily escaped that immutable lore of farm husbandry!

I honestly don't think it matters if the spineless bastards in the GOP take the Senate or not. They will do nothing with it. With the exception of a few they are just as progressive as the dip shits on the other side. They are not doing their jobs and in violation of their "oath" to protect the Constitution. They are criminals of the highest order who violate the rule of law because they believe the law does not apply to them. That We the People are underlings who do not know what is best for us and they should look after us as I would my cattle.

The whole bunch is a rotten egg in the nest of what is right and good about America.

Baloney. They will still have McCain, Collins, King and McConnell to vote the progressive line when needed.

I agree, she's right. But we are screwed either way.
