Anybody have any empty USGI wirebound crates that accomodate .50 Cal M2A1 cans that they want to get rid of?

While I'm taking a sit-down-before-you-fall-down break from mop-up duty, does anybody have any empty USGI wirebound crates that accommodate .50 Cal M2A1 cans that they want to get rid of? I'm looking for four of them. Drop me an email at GeorgeMason1776AT1olDOTcom.

These are easy to replicate yourself if you're just a little bit handy. A sheet of 1/4" plywood, 1" X 2" fir boards, 10ga ceiling support wire from the hardware store, a staple gun and a skill-saw. The wirebound crates also accomodate 3 USGI .30Cal ammo cans.

Not sure how far from the coast you are,or if you have any contacts who live near the Gulf or ocean-but similar crates are used for packing and shipping fish all up and down the east coast.

I know this because I used to put a few hundred a day together in Wanchese NC for Ethridge Seafood.

I'm fairly sure they would sell you a few,or tell you where they get them. If I remember correctly, the boxes came from a company in Dahlonega Ga.
