The NJ Firearms ID Application, Intentional Trap For The Unwary?

James Kaleda in happier days -- back when he was just being ejected from a tyrant's "hearing" for impertinence -- but before the tyrants figured out how to make him a criminal.
An unwary or naive applicant can easily run afoul of the law, through no real fault of their own and absent any criminal intent or deliberate effort to mislead or provide false information. The exact nature of the information Mr. Kaleda has been accused of falsifying is unknown to date. But I am of the firm belief that his detainment is retribution for his vocal opposition against proposed New Jersey’s anti gun legislation. Based on experience and numerous reputable sources, as well as the fact that Mr Kaleda previously held a New Jersey Resident Firearms Identification Card. In addition Mr. Kaleda successfully purchased numerous firearms when he was a New Jersey resident.

Bushmaster is already gone. Bushmaster died when Cerberus Capital gobbled it up, looted the company assets, fired all the workers, and started putting the Bushmaster brand name on shitty DPMS rifles at a $200 premium, which are one tiny baby step better than Olympic's dismal attempt at an AR.

For those of you in Rio Linda, Bushmaster/Quality Parts Corporation of Windham, Maine was a top-shelf supplier of AR parts and complete rifles, with a history of military contracts going back to the 1970s. DPMS, despite being named "Defense Procurement and Manufacturing Specialties," has never had a military contract because their name would be better rendered as "Doesn't Pass Mil Specs." Bushmaster was known for the dubious M17S bullpup, the worst of whose faults were worked out by the time of the hostile takeover, and otherwise the worst problem I ever heard of with Bushmaster products was that sometimes the anodizing would be a little bit off in color. DPMS sells cast lowers, cast internals, and cast bolts with dubious heat treatment, which are infamous for the variety of catastrophic failure modes they display.
