Some Connecticut police refusing to enforce AW law

David Hardy reports: Tyler Jackson has emailed me an interesting story, soon to apper online (I'll link to it once it does)-- the gist is that the head of the Connecticut Peace Officers' Assn has released an open letter stating that the police will not "be party to the oppression of the people of the state by enforcing an unconstitutional law." So far 250 LEOs have cosigned the letter.

250 out of 1,200+?
Kinda like the old joke about what do you call 300 lawyers trapped on a 747 in deep water?
A damn good start!!
I would still question their motives; are they refusing out of moral principles or do they just want to avoid possibly getting shot?

Of course this is great news .... however I have to wonder what "Plan B" might be. I wonder how the Feds feel about this, it is one thing to come in when local L E is cooperating, it is another when they are not.

Although this may be a complication, I am sure there is going to be a back up plan. Anyone know how the Obama "Brown Shirts" are coming along.

This is cops demonstrating that they understand there are more of us than there us of them and that we really do surround them.

Thus is a positive development and a lesson to be learned. Have the courage to stand up to the collectivist bastards and theLEOs WILL side with US - against politicians who seek to usurp our Liberties!

i would be wary of that info until it is verified. I just did a quick search for "Connecticut Peace Officers Association" without getting any meaningful results. However, I did find a link to "Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association":

http://cspoa.org/red-coat-list/

Perhaps this is it?

I did find associations with similar names in the states of Alaska, California, Florida and Kansas and various counties and cities.

Nero's motto was "Oderint dum metuant" (Let them hate as long as they fear) but he had a monopoly of force back in those good old days.

Today, I'm perfectly happy if the legislature hates me, but they also have to fear.

It's critically important to get rock solid verification on this one.

If LEOs are actually getting on board by penning their signatures, this will be a tactical game changer.

You guys need to watch this till the end. This is a video of the same vet that stood up and said he would never register his weapon.

They may simply be buying time. Pray the courts change things in the current direction of events. Or,,,, well, let us prey that divine intervention stops the bulls***

One way or the other, easy or hard, they make the first move, and the consequences are rendered as such.

Hey guys, be careful. The US government has a black ops device which blinds snipers. They talked about it during the Mike Harris show on 26 Feb 2014. I've posted a transcript at http://pastebin.com/04qycPk3

Make sure everyone gets to know this. They can blind you from a mile and a half away with a laser.

If you don't believe the government can be so evil, just note that they nuked the WTC on 9/11 and sent all those responders in with no protection

Well, we'll see how that goes when they are faced with losing their job and pension.

@ anonymous 6:50AM; Dude, anyone can buy a laser up to several watts (will start fires), and anyone with skills can buy the parts to build one as powerful as they can afford. It ain't black ops.
I don't buy the official story on 9/11, but nukes? That's just stupid.

I'm going to play Devils Advocate here..

If this article is true, then it's certainly a step in the right direction, and if so, the question now becomes, will they stand with the people of Connecticut, rather than merely not standing against them?

However, the article cites the "Connecticut Peace Officers Association" as the source of the information. After an extensive google search, I can't find any online mention of this organization.

There is a "Police Association of Connecticut" at www.ctpac.org and an "Association of Police Officers" at www.assocfpo.org that promotes officer safety in CT, RI, MA, NY, NJ & NH but no CT Peace Officers Association..

If anyone can verify their existence, I would appreciate hearing from them.

There are now several sources for this story, but not one of them has links yet and I can't find any evidence that the "Connecticut Peace Officers' Assn" even exists. This feels like misinformation to me. Be cautious.

Well there you go. Enough said.

They ARE NOT going to place their government jobs, bennies and pensions in jeopardy....they are government workers first, Constitutionalists Americans maybe second.

We must understand this. People who work for the government are NOT patriots, they will not place their paychecks behind the USC and the BOR.

Me must get this through our heads...if you think LE personnel are "your friends" or "good neighbors", you are a fool.

Might be a hoax, read the comments in the linked article.
