"Poetic Justice or Act of War – The Assassination of Barack Obama."

This article is in response to a Pravda article which raised the question, can the United States be bombed by drones of foreign powers? Actually, there is legal precedence that may allow Mr. Obama to be assassinated by a foreign power. And such an act, while odious to many, would be perfectly legal. In fact, the same arguments that America has used in the past could be used to justify the assignation.

I'd much rather see Senator Cruz, or maybe Senator Paul, or any other Rebug that wants their place in the history books, to undertake another government shutdown. One lasting months or even years instead of mere weeks.

Get up in front of CSPAN, and start reading from "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare", including "Hamlet" in the original Klingon!

Anonymous said...: The legal theory behind Poetic Justice is predicated on the fact that our "rule of law" has been vanquished. We are no longer under "the rule of law", the law of nature and nature's God, wherein we the people establish a nation state whose only duty is to protect our inalienable rights from God. We are now under the "rule of man", tyranny. That opens doors that should never be opened. Now that our despot can kill anyone he lists as an enemy, foreign and domestic without due process of law, the theory of poetic justice supposes that another tyrant may elect to use the same "rule of man" to destroy another tyrant. I don't see it as poetic, but I do see that rule by tyrant leads to massive numbers of death inflicted on innocents: i.e. collateral damage. It could become a tit-for-tat with nukes.
