NRA not always “unflinching and unapologetic” for the Second Amendment

But while LaPierre presents the organization as “unflinching and unapologetic” on gun rights, the NRA has a history of being on the wrong side of the battle for freedom. Take District of Columbia v. Heller, for instance.

Don't forget their generally spineless "handling" of the Brady Act [1993] and the Assault Weapons Ban [1994], when they supposedly were architects of the last great "Republican Revolution". A plague on both their houses!
