More on the Connecticut "I wanna civil war and I want it now" uniformed thug mantra.

Cop: I'd Love to 'Bang down Your Door and Come for Your Gun'
Were I a Connecticut policeman, it would be a cold day in the halls of government before I’d ever enforce the new gun-control laws. If the IRS can get away with an “oops” for targeting conservative groups, so can citizens targeted by an unjust law. As to this, I’ll leave you with the words of St. Augustine: “An unjust law is no law at all.”
Again, I'd like to remind everybody that the law doesn't protect the citizenry so much as it does the constabulary and the politicians who send them. Act lawless and pretty soon we're going to conclude who the common -- and uncommon -- criminals really are.

The linked article, in American Thinker, was quite good. The comments section was interesting also. Several posted about how the new "militarized police" will carry the day. I offered my thoughts on that topic there, and will post them here.

So it seems that you make a pretty strong case for the fact that the police are already so "overpowering" that they will easily control the citizens when the need arises.

I surely wouldn't argue with your notion that, when working in consort with many other officers, they will indeed "control the scene" at that moment in time.

However many liberals have suggested that an "armed citizenry" could never overpower the US military, and I would agree with that also. But.....an armed citizenry, using 4GW tactics, and taking on the enemy, one person at a time, from out of nowhere, could easily achieve the long term goal.

Read history about how the Jews in the Warsaw ghetto took on the German army.....one man at a time, wherever they could find him alone. Read the book "Ghost Wars" by Steve Coll, which is about the resistance, by a motley band of towel heads, in Afghanistan, when they took on the second most powerful army on earth, the Russians, and how, using 4GW tactics they totally "demoralized" and utterly defeated that army in ten years.

We all have watched the scenes of the cops, en masse, taking on some unfortunate soul who has allowed himself to become trapped in a fixed position, easy prey for the cops. The cops in THAT crowd, on an individual basis are almost "invincible" for sure.

Now how well would one of those "Johnny Laws" stop a .308 bullet....when he is walking from his house to his car....to go to the store to get a six pack to watch the ball game with?

Different story isn't it? Now multiply the targets available, by the number of people involved in the corrupt political leadership of our nation at this point, and there are plenty. No need to face any large force head on. The 4GW war, is for the minds of the infidels, not the might of their armies!
