Gun shop selling EP Armory 80% receivers fighting off ATF attack of their own

(T)he receivers were not manufactured that way, and what EP Armory has been making, and Ares Armor has been selling, are not guns, and have never been guns. Since they are also not alcohol, tobacco or explosives (and not ammunition), the BATFE has precisely zero jurisdiction over them, and their demands for Ares' customer list are utterly illegitimate.

I am wondering how many people that bought these 80% lowers will get a visit from the Feds.

I'm waiting for the letter or phone call. Haven't drilled it yet, and won't now until the dust has settled.

I went to the EP Armory site to see what they have, and found that all the receivers are out of stock, even the pink and zombie green ones. It appears the extra publicity has been good for business.

I am an Ares Armor customer. You should be too. They need the business funds to fight this. Even if you don't yet own a mill, buy one of their 80% lowers and use it as a paper weight...at least until you obtain or get access to a mill so that you can complete the work.

I bought one of the EP poly lowers from a seller on Amazon a few weeks ago. They no longer have a store front. I now have a fully functioning AR. I had to adjust the trigger a little but other than that, it works great.

Hopefully Ares will win the fight.
