Backlash against gun shop shows gun owners smarter than 'smart gun' pushers

We can destroy anyone in the gun industry who collaborates with the forcible citizen disarmament lobby and their pet government officials. And we must.

It will be interesting to see what Chris Christie does about repealing that ridiculous law in New Jersey. It was passed in 2002 by a democrat legislature and signed into law by James McGreevey, a democrat governor. Christie did sign 10 gun bills into law in 2013. A couple of them were good, the rest not so good. Christie will not get my vote in the Republican Primary. I hope he does not get the nomination. But, if he does I'll have to cross my fingers and vote for the fat blowhard anyway. If we have republican majorities in both houses of congress they should be able to insulate us from some of Christie's anti-gun tendencies.

Great.....

We're likely to be given a choice between Christie and "Monica's ex-boyfriend's wife". "Lesser of two weevils" indeed.

Many moons ago when my kids were much smaller we took them to DC. Each of us got to pick one particular site that we wanted to see. My wife picked the Smithsonian's art collection. She wanted to revisit some of the pieces she had studied in college. I picked the National Archives. I wanted us all to see the documents that are the foundations of American liberty. My 7 year old daughter picked a side trip to Williamsburg to see where her "American Girl" doll had "lived". But my 5 year old son wanted to visit Arlington National Cemetery. To this day I do not understand why a 5 year old would pick that place out of all the possibilities, but I am glad he did. I defy any of you to visit that place without leaving as a changed person.

The main thing I took away with me was the gut feeling that the people buried under all of those markers as far as the eye could see did not make the sacrifices they made so that I could vote for "the lesser of two evils."
