I have been summoned back down to the county criminal court dock for a hearing at 1:30.

Doesn't look like the judge is willing to force the DA to give up the name of my accuser, but I will let you know this afternoon after I get back home. IF I get back home. ;-)

Seems I remember asomething in the Constitution about "confronting one's accuser"... just sayin'

The Bill of Rights says you have the right to face your accuser.

Praying for your safe passage...

if the judge doesn't force the DA then that's not only a violation of your constitutional rights..it would by extension be judicial misconduct wouldn't it?

Not just who, but how did they know of the weapon.?
Illegal bugging perhaps?
Good luck.

Constitutional right to confront an accuser? Who are you in front of? The honorable Judge Pigmeat Marcum! Knuck.

Doesn't your lawyer DO anything, Mikey? He should be raising hell, making demands, asserting himself loudly and should be regularly threatened with contempt of court. If he can't do the job, fire his arse and we'll all chip in to get you one who knows how to 'lawyer'.

Good luck with the Judge. As far as I'm concerned, this is an outrage, but typical everywhere I go. This country is filled with little tyrant cops in every little town. Coquille and Bandon Oregon are no exceptions. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRY1y4m-5xE

In fact, police harrassment videos are all over Youtube

If I recall, the Sheriff's office is an elected position. If you won't run for Congress at least you can run for Sheriff in the next election.

Howie Honky: Doesn't work that way in the real world.

Lawyers won't do stuff like that because Hizzonner will take it out on them later, to the detriment of another client.

There ain't no justice in our "justice system"...
