LaPierre demands Holder's job. Send money. Plus, "We were one of just a few voices in the wilderness." PS: Send money. Aiding the cover-up.

The only way that Eric Holder will "get to the bottom" of the Gunwalker Plot is when he wipes his own ass after taking a dump. However, the NRA would like to help Obama with the cover-up, as long as they can make a little money at it.

NRA Chief LaPierre: Eric Holder Must Go.

Really? Why now? Don't we need him around to get to the bottom of this? Of course, the only way Eric Holder will himself, unassisted, "get to the bottom" of the Gunwalker Plot is when he wipes his own ass after taking a dump.

Actually, getting rid of Holder now would be an easy, and rare, notch on the NRA coup stick but would actually facilitate the cover-up and protect the White House.

But that's not what this is about. It is about NRA PR and fundraising. For example, take this remarkable statement from the "800 pound gorilla of gun rights."

"When NRA first began our campaign to fire Eric Holder we were one of just a few voices in the wilderness."

Oh. yeah, riiiiiight.

Of course they were.

The NRA had to be dragged kicking and screaming to this scandal, by their own membership agitating from below as well as courageous board members like LTC Robert K. Brown of Soldier of Fortune magazine.

LaPierre himself told media folks early on that they were reluctant to get into this because it was just "rumors" and the NRA didn't want to be seen as "anti-law enforcement."

To demand Holder's removal now is just an attempt to pick low hanging fruit, that won't push forward the investigation into the inner recesses of the White House.

If LaPierre (my French is a little hazy, does that mean "The Peter"?) is serious about getting "to the bottom" of the Gunwalker Plot, he should rather be demanding a House-based independent investigator AND making that a point of scoring politicians by. Anything less and he is just holding Holder's toilet paper for him.

Actually, LaPierre means "the stone". Singular. Maybe he has only one.

Abso-smurfly!

The NRA is the largest and best disguised gun control group in this country. It stands for government control over inalienable rights that belong to the individual - especially to the tune of it allowing permissions, for a fee of course, and requiring NRA training via legislation, for a fee of course.

The NRA is in the business of convincing people to "compromise" away the rights that belong to others. It talks out of both sides of its mouth, arguing both for and against permission slips, and makes money all along the way. These days, the NRA has more in common,butter for its bread, with the Brady Bunch than it does with American Patriots.

What the NRA did in McDonald (regarding P or I) brought harm to all Americans. Gura had it, if the NRA would have just watched it happen, but nooooooo. It just had to muck it all up with due process trying to keep the butter coming, causing McDonald to contradict Heller. That will come back to bite, hard, eventually. And it didn't have to happen. Absent the NRA meddling, Thomas would have been writing the Majority opinion itself, with the others agreeing.

Actually, Mr. LaPierre is enthusiastically holding a LOT MORE than just Mr. Holder's toilet paper...

So Wayne, along with most of the political 'conservatives', are just a bunch of copsuckers. Is this news to anybody?

The idea that "pierre" == "stone" comes from the original Aramaic (Kepha/Cephas) Hebrew (אבן) or Greek (Petros/πέτρος) wherein Christ noted in a pun that **PETER'S** name meant "the rock", and He said "on this rock I will build my Church..."

thus...

Pierre == stone/rock (French)
Peter == stone/rock (ENGLISH)
Pietre == stone/rock (Romanian)
Pietr == stone/rock (various Slavic languages)
Pedro == stone/rock (spanish)
Petros (Greek)

Etc...

And we all know the grade-school adage "if a=b, and b=c, then a=c."

Literally/directly transliterated (as opposed to transLATED) "La Pierre" is the same as "The Peter".

Period.

He really is "Wayne The Peter"...

Yeah. This from the same NRA who chose not to oppose the Holder nomination because they "didn't want to expend precious political capital."

Piss on the NRA (Negotiating Rights Away)

Maybe the NRA should just do as much as what the goa tries to do. Nothing. That way the NRA won't be blamed by all of these so-called gunowners. Some of these so-called gunowners should do a little research and find out why the NRA is the only gun group feared by the anti-gun groups.

Warning! Repeat Post!

Take Mr. LaPierre's fund raising letter and tear it up. Now write a check for the amount LaPierre requested to SAF, GOA, Dutchman6 or whomever you think would do the most good with the funds. Make a copy of that check and write VOID across the face of it. Mail the original to the intended recipient. Put the voided check copy, the torn up NRA request for funds letter, and a short note explaining why you are mailing the funds Mr. Lapierre requested to someone who actually supports the Second Amendment instead of just talking about it into another envelope and mail them registered mail return receipt requested to Mr. Lapierre personally.

Yeah it's going to cost you a few bucks. What is your freedom worth to you?

Besides, I think Dutchman6 is still in need of a suit.
